Right. So: we have been busy lately.
Chronology:
- This site has gotten really popular, sucking up some time.
- And this place sucks up the rest.
- Angharad moved down. Time, time, time, and then some!
- This site, too
- Cooking; we had trout for dinner tonight. Sauteed in butter, white wine, lemon juice and a few herbs. Nice.
- Last night: “california-style” burritos, says Angharad, and I didn’t get sick!
- Rereading Mason & Dixon. Slow going, but picking up a lot that I missed before. Ketjap!
- Comcast broadband. I think I got a lot more done over dialup and flaky wireless. Now we have perfect 5-bar wireless and I obsess over keeping up with…
- …Bloglines!
- Netflix, too. Last night we saw Trekkies (scary) and Sling Blade (predictable but damn B-Bt can act!).
- Sailing and thus….
- …peeling. SPF15 might as well be water.
- Furniture-purchasing: 6 chairs, 2 tables, 1 sofa, 1 rug (for now), 4 bookcases (many more to come), various kitchen things, one bed, two shower curtains, etc., etc., more, more, more!
- Convincing Angharad to get a job: “So, did you send out any applications today?” “Um, no.” “Maybe tomorrow?” “Sure.”
- Convincing Angharad to be as crazily-neat as I am: “It’s good that you’re cleaning the waffle iron. But in the living room? And what is that glop on the floor? You can only see it from here because of the light. There, you see that? What is it???!”
