Why is it that when things seem to be going better than they have been for some time, the person with whom things are going better than before loses all interest in actually talking?

Jen said she would email this week, which is the first positive thing I’ve heard from her in not quite a year. It’s nearly the only thing I’ve heard from her in not quite a year.
JenA didn’t return the email that I sent her the other day. At least, I think I sent her an email the other day. Maybe she’s on spring break?
A-MMcD has been really busy lately. We met for drinks last a week-and-a-half ago, which is a long time, especially considering the good weather.

I need to make calls on Monday on NB’s behalf. he wants a job, I thought I had a good position in the bag, but it seems something’s gone wrong. Fortunately, I can probably deal with this.
I should also doublecheck on NA’s internship. I’m pretty sure that’s set, though.
My component system looks terribly imposing when the sun lights its matte gray aluminum faces. It appears solid and heavy, over a hundred pound. Then again, it probably is.
A review I read yesterday on cnet has given me the urge to get another pair of headphones. Somehow, stacked up against those that came with my iPod (the white earbuds), my Bang & Olufsen Form II’s didn’t do so well as I would have hoped. Yes, of course the sound was more open than the buds, and the bass is a lot clearer, but for, e.g., piano, the two about match one another in richness.
Anyway, I may well buy the Sennheiser HD497’s, since they’re cheap enough. Or maybe the Grado SR80 is a better bet, even though it’s ranked a bit below. I need to go try these things out, somewhere, especially considering that I have no ida how well they’ll play with the iPod.
