“A lot of thought went into supermajority votes.” These things were done for a reason when the Constitution was drafted. That’s why 2/3 of the Senate is needed for treaties and other matters. Omission doesn’t imply consent.
On the issue of precedent, even Sen Corzine admits the Democrats’ radical strategy in an email to donors: he calls the Democrats actions an “unprecedented effort” to save the courts.
Graham’s conclusion: “You don’t have the right to take the Constitution and turn it upside down for petty politics.” And if this isn’t fixed now, the special interest groups are going to take over the whole process; all they need is forty senators on their side.

You really like to blast the the Democrats. Now that Pat Robertson and the other right wing unamerican bastard’s who falsly claim to want freedom, really want to make this your religious state. This never was intended by the forefathers of this country.
I’ve never belonged to a political party, but, even though I vote both ways on the ballot,I’ll never vote Republican again as long as the money hungry people like Robertson and the right wing of evangelits try to steal my freedom.
Bush’s own Justice department issued a report that 80% of all fraud in this country is caused by televangalism.
Strange they say that, but don’t do anything about it.
