A Leadership Institute intern told me how they test new interns for libertarian-ness:
…[The program coordinator] went around the bus and asked everybody if he was for or against vending machines in public places selling heroin to three-year olds. Most, loving liberty in all its messiness and complexity, were in favor. One against, though, made a particularly good point: “There shouldn’t be any public places.”
